
Ingredients
Olive oil
1 yolk
1 or 2 garlic cloves
Salt
How to make it:
Step 1. Put some salt in the bottom of the recipient.
Step 2. Peal, chop and smash the garlic
Step 3. Add the yolk to the recipient and stir the mixture always same direction.
Step 4. Stir and stir until you get an homogeneous texture.
Step 5. Start adding olive oil, little by little.
Step 6. Stop adding oil but keep stirring the same direction.
Step 7. Add some more oil. Stir. The sauce will get so thick that the wodden stick stands on its own.
Step 8. Keep adding oil until you have got enough sauce.
How to serve it:
You can serve this sauce with any meat meal, especially the grilled ones. It is really nice as well with grilled potatoes. But, do you want another use? Try it with some cod cooked in the oven. Use some sliced tomatoe and onion. Spread some allioli sauce on top of the cod and leave it grill until the allioli is brownish.
Oh, and one tip: if you are eating with someone else, make sure everybody eats allioli, as your breath smells the same!
